Step 2: Adding time off / work events

Events vs. Work Schedule

In step 1 you discovered the Work Schedule  - which is designed to reflect your declared work hours.

If there are any unplanned changes, or even those that are planned but are shorter than a 1 month period of time, you should not use the Work Schedule and you want to use the timeION Events.
Events are great for reflecting when you are:

  • wan't to make one-time adjustment to what was declared in your work schedule
  • leaving the office early or during the day
  • going on either a short or long vacation
  • seeing a doctor
  • participating in a conference or other event
  • changing your work location: e.g. you decided to work from home instead of going to the office at that date

3 Ways to Add an Event:

1. Pressing the "+" icon in the top bar

2. Drag and drop on a day sidebar

3. Hold and drag on the Calendar Grid

It's extremely easy to add a multiple days events in a more visual prominent way
